A day in the life of a family in West Germany. The daily routine of mother, father and three children on 2 June 1967.
Time jump. The children of the silent generation take up their inheritance. At the centre of Ersan Mondtag's production is the continuation of National Socialism in a middle-class family in West Germany up to the beginning of the noughties and the first murders of the NSU. What burden weighs on those who dare to oppose their parents? And how strong are the material and ideological continuities of the right-wing legacy still today? How different can life paths be that start from seemingly the same point? Who makes which decisions and why in this family? Who has a choice? And who talks their way out of it?
